Nene Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) recognises that our patients have different needs depending on where they live in the county. With this in mind, eight different geographical areas called localities have been identified to focus our work on a very local level.

This approach helps us to provide local services that are right for patients in each of the local areas – we know that what is right for a patient in one part of the county can be very different from patients’ needs in another.

The GP practices in each of the locality areas are all working together to discuss and agree what is best for their patients, supported by their own dedicated GP Chair and Senior Locality Manager.

The eight locality areas are:

• Daventry North
• East Northamptonshire
• Kettering
• Northampton Central
• Northampton East and South
• Northampton West
• South Northamptonshire
• Wellingborough
