Free Whose Shoes event aims to improve maternity and neonatal services

Parents and maternity service health professionals are being given the opportunity to discuss how maternity and neonatal services could be improved at an event next week.

The Whose Shoes workshop has been organised by local NHS organisations in Northamptonshire.

It will take place on 12th March in Northampton and is free to attend. Further workshops are planned in Kettering and Corby during May.

Dr Emma Donnelly, local GP and Clinical Director for Nene Clinical Commissioning Group said: “This will be an interactive session and  will look at key ways services can be improved. This will include valuing staff, improving safety and quality, working better together and helping to ensure patients are at the centre of everything we do.

This is an opportunity to come and have your say on maternity or neonatal services. We would encourage anyone who has an interest in these services to sign up to the event and join the discussion.”

The event will take place on 12th March at Northamptonshire County Cricket Club from 10am – 2.30pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Your free place can be registered by visiting Eventbrite and searching for Whose Shoes Northampton Workshop or calling 01604 651638.
